Minor

Minor is a Berlin-based non-profit, civil society organization, aiming to sustainably promote social and political participation of marginalized groups and a strong democratic culture.
Harnessing a high degree of cultural and professional diversity amongst our team, Minor implements projects in the areas of research, pilot-testing, consultancy, education, training and networking across Germany as well as transnationally. Thematically, Minor covers a wide range of topics, including integration and inclusion in education and work, migration, gender equality, antidiscrimination, the promotion of democracy and social cohesion. Minor’s projects in the field of civic and historical education – including the We Refugees Archive, MuRem and Flight – Exile – Participation – aim to make visible marginalized perspectives in history and connections between past and present by facilitating participatory and diverse public remembrance.
Minor functioned as the coordinator of the European project “Female Labour Migration in European History” (FeMig.Lab).
