Humanity in Action Poland

Founded in 2008, Humanity in Action (HIA) Poland is part of the transatlantic Humanity in Action network with non-profit, non-partisan partner organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States. The educational, networking and leadership programs focus on respect for human rights and actions supporting democracy, civil society and multiculturalism.

HIA Poland shares its values through education and the support of forms of civic engagement that are shaped by specific historical and cultural contexts. HIA’s objective is to facilitate and promote dialogue to respond to the challenges that democratic societies face as they become increasingly diverse. Deeply engaged in human rights, pluralism and democracy, the uniqueness of HIA lies in the multitude of perspectives that are brought together in a vibrant international community.
