The Basque Observatory of Immigration aims to analyze, understand, and assess the impact of migration flows in the Basque Country, with the goal of creating a publicly useful tool for systematic understanding of the migration phenomenon.

It was established in 2004 as an organization linked to the Basque Government and the University of the Basque Country (EHU).
